MEN'S MARCH

This March belongs to the men.

They answered the invitation to stand up, take responsibility and draw attention to the matter that the safety of women and children is their responsibility as well. Let us give them space for that and let us empower them in this.

That is why we do not actively invite women to walk with them. But we do invite you to await them at the Museum Square. Not because they deserve some reward for something that should be self-evident. But because we believe in reciprocity.

When we told the men that we wanted to await them, their first response was: "You don't have to, you already do enough."

Still it feels meaningful to us to be there. Because in the end, we all feel the desire for a place where we are seen, welcomed and to be able to land safely.

​

If we ask the men to help create a world in which women and children can feel more safe, then we too want to contribute to a world where men can experience that they are welcome in it. Safety flows in both directions. 

​

That is why we invite all women to come together at the destination of the March. Not as spectators or as a reward. But as a warm welcome and a living symbol of the world we wish to create together.

A world in which we can build together. Where courage is answered by openness. Where responsibility is met with connection. And where we can help each other to find home, time and again.
